Bring the Opportunity Platform into your AI assistant
Add the platform as a connector in Claude and ask your AI to search opportunities, review your schemes, and track Section 106 delivery, all within your account's permissions. Built for council, developer, employer, training provider and delivery partner accounts.
Add it to Claude
- 1.In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- 2.Paste the connector URL:
https://opportunityplatform.co.uk/api/mcp - 3.Sign in with your existing platform account and approve the connection. That is it, there are no API keys to manage.
What it can read
Search internal opportunities and the external jobs feed, view the development schemes you have access to, and read S106 compliance figures (targets versus delivered, status, and a portfolio roll-up).
What it can do
With your permission, draft new opportunities under your organisation. Drafts are never published automatically, a person reviews and sets them live in the dashboard. More actions are being added carefully so they keep the same audit and approval guarantees.
Scoped to your account
The AI only ever sees and changes what your role and borough or scheme permissions already allow. A council sees its borough; an employer sees its own roles. The tools an account cannot use are never offered.
Resident data stays private
Resident and applicant personal data is never shared through the connector in this release. Every action is recorded in an audit log. You can disconnect at any time from your account settings.
Good to know
- Connections use OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. We never see your Claude data.
- Calls are rate limited to 60 per minute per connection.
- Use the main site host, opportunityplatform.co.uk, not a borough or scheme subdomain.
