About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Site Operative to join our growing team on residential and commercial construction projects across the West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid site experience who's looking to develop their groundworks skills and progress within a supportive team environment.
Key
Responsibilities
Carry out general labouring and site support duties across live construction sites
Assist groundworkers with excavation, drainage installation, and concrete foundations
Erect and dismantle mobile scaffold towers in line with PASMA guidelines
Prepare sub-bases, spread hardcore, and support road and driveway construction
Operate small plant machinery (plate compactors, pedestrian rollers) as required
Maintain site tidiness and adhere to the site waste management plan
Comply with all health and safety requirements and PPE protocols at all times
Requirements
- Requirements
- Valid CSCS Blue Card (essential)
- First Aid at Work certificate (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Working at Height / PASMA qualification
- Manual Handling certification
- Previous experience on a construction site in a labouring or operative role
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
